5·1 month agoWell but r/n you can’t adjust the price of butter 3x a day.
(maybe you can but it’s stuff u don’t see. With this tech, I’d be worried they’ll change the price multiple times a day to minimize my wallet)
Fuck ice!

8·4 months agoA detailed room-mapping scan is basically a wealth report disguised as vacuum telemetry: square footage, room count, layout complexity, “bonus” spaces like offices or nurserie; all of it feeds straight into socioeconomic profiling. And once companies have that floor plan, they’re not just storing it; they’re monetizing it, feeding it into ad networks, data brokers, and pricing algorithms that adjust what you see (=and what you pay) based on the shape of your living space.
And a mapped floor plan also quietly exposes who lives in the home, how they move, and what can be inferred from that.

2·4 months agoDarn, I don’t have a dance mat0 :/ Silly approach but output dancemat to keystrokes? I have made some silly combinations work with AntiMicroX (https://github.com/AntiMicroX/antimicrox?tab=readme-ov-file) installed as flatpak.
Maybe helpful:
Bazzite comes with joydev, analog, and xpad, so just a cursory search has me believe this should work more or less out of the box (https://askubuntu.com/questions/33676/how-to-configure-an-usb-ddr-dance-pad-for-stepmania) but I acknowledge I have no way to test this. You might have to modprobe each module or add them to /etc/modules-load.d/ddr-pad.conf …
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Good luck!

Skill Issue! (/s)
Actual answer: Exists as Flatpak. Yes, with disclaimer that it’s no longer maintained and may be a security risk, but then again, the github hasn’t been updated sice 2021 either so…
