ha yeah!

I just call us Fedi. Like its all in compassing. IDK.
We are certainly something 😆

Health insurance here. They were the biggest kid on the block as far as information gathering.

Thry want us to subscribe to computing.

We got tired of meshtastic so we build some with Wi-Fi HaLow and other Wifi stuff.
Meshtastic/core are ok as a hobby, but after doing it for a good number of years, im just tired of the downtime, strange issues with heltek and the very small amount you can actually send.
Its fun and we have got a number of houses set up. Its not too hard in our area.

Locally we have been setting up some mesh systems. Its been fun work. One of the best things about it is:
Its in the early phases but its been a sucess so far.

Yep its not definitive. The only real data from that article was from cloudflare which showed some differing numbers. But thats all. I personally think we will know more once we have all the other trackers out there pull independent numbers.
Articles coming out seem to be what people “feel” like it is. Which isnt real data haha. All we can definitively say is that Linux usage is up from multiple trackers (stat counter/Cloudflare/Steam/etc…) but time will tell how much.

Either way, we will see after this month if this is a trend or something of a statistical anomaly.
Theres a lot of articles claiming this and that. The only thing we can definitively say is Linux usage seems up or at least browsers are reporting more Linux across the board. Be careful of people who are saying “its all AI” or “its all algorithms” etc…as its just one month.

At a job i waa at, we attempted to integrate with a union. When we attempted to put the material onto google drive it would lock us out. It was consistant.

Its all good, its great it exists. You too!

Thanks!!
…wait its gone :( darn.

People have been reporting it quite a bit. If i were to guess A/B testing.

I want that sticker!

I brought up last time that if RAM prices keep going up and up, it makes more economic sense to make more factories/facilities.
Theres always those people who say that it doesn’t make sense to make new facilities, but I really dont see chip shortages to stop. With climate change being a thing and supply chain issues popping up more and more, I just dont see an end within the next 10 years. Makes more sense to bring some of that in house.

Yep!

I was just sharing hat would happen if whatapp and other services went down…Interesting. Guess we see what happends live!

Nice, glad you like the design. I do too.
I think in theory it would be easier to repair. But it is 250 which is quite a bit.
Ill know in a couple months!

If anyone wants to see the old project: https://hackaday.io/project/192688-the-open-book
Its been around for a bit. The newest iteration looks like its trying to be more like kindle.
GH page: https://github.com/joeycastillo/The-Open-Book
I forget where but the developer goes over the cost of the physical hardware a couple of years ago somewhere. Its kinda expensive to make your own open source ebook reader from mostly scratch.
I like this version: https://www.oddlyspecificobjects.com/projects/openbook/
Oh yeah that was good.
