The turbine is about equally difficult to make as the reactor, it doesn’t make sense to waste one on a reactor that can’t max it out. Small modular reactors work great for boats though, where size is a bigger factor, and the Navy is actually pretty good at making them.
GameStop could actually help solve some problems eBay has. GameStop has stores everywhere that can serve as pickup locations to avoid theft problems. GameStop has humans that can help with scam offerings where fake items were sent, or verify an item is intact before returning so a seller can’t lie about it being broken. eBay can become a supply source for collectables or whatever products GameStop wants to focus on in stores. They could sell a membership that lets you have items shipped to your store for inspection before purchasing or something like that.

That’s great for the 80%. It doesn’t help the 10-15% where a road trip becomes significantly longer, or when you don’t have access to home charging on vacation or a weekend trip. I find a way to work around a once or twice a year event that’s not great for an EV, but I can’t justify a car that doesn’t work for me once or twice per month.
The price is definitely the bigger issue for EVs, but even then they definitely need to either roughly double range or halve charging time from 20% to 80%. Right now, they don’t quite cover enough of users needs, especially at the price. I need a vehicle that covers 90-95% of my use cases, and EVs are sitting closer to 80%.
This has nothing to do with keys. This would be like Sony listing a basic PlayStation on their website that was $100 cheaper than other stores and Walmart threatening to remove PlayStation from their stores. This is about Steam (like many retailers) ensuring that they aren’t being undercut by other retailers.
This isn’t about steam keys, it’s about a most favored nation clause. It’s a fairly common clause when selling across multiple platforms. It can be considered anticompetitive in some cases. It’s also pretty standard in retail agreements. It’s why name brand products are generally the same price everywhere.
The same thing would happen if Walmart found Sony was selling PlayStations cheaper on their website than in store.
This is probably a good thing as these tend to be shit jobs with high turnover. Dealing with angry people for hours on end isn’t great for anyone long term.

Not remotely an expert. While the numbers are crazy big, the time tends to be short. The ppe doesn’t have to survive thousands of degrees for more than a fraction of a second. Also it has to route the charge through itself rather than you. Finally, for certain death scenarios successfully working ppe doesn’t mean unscathed, it means still alive with reasonable recovery chances.
AI is a lot closer to a revolution than to a bust. It’s already likely going to remain an established tool for software development and process automation.
It still remains to be seen if a company can be a single person managing an army of agents can actually become a sustainable company. This would be an industrial revolution on steroids type change that’s honestly terrifying.
An equally or even more likely scenario is we get most of the way there, but it only reduces the need for developer type jobs by 20-50%. From here lots of things could happen. The job market could stay somewhat stable as while companies hire less people, there are more smaller companies with direct hires as the barrier is massively reduced. The job market drastically shrinks and software becomes a less attractive discipline compared to other types of engineering or office work. An industry wide Cobol type situation happens as those that survive the job losses retire and laid off workers have moved on to other industries and no junior positions exist.

It’s tempered glass, so it doesn’t need the support. It also means that it’s designed to shatter in a way that prevents sharp edges. That robot has a lot more power than a human when it hits the glass. Tempered glass does weaken after repeated strong impacts, so that could potentially be part of it as well.
Copper is way easier to fence and way easier to steal. The RAM and NVME aren’t getting installed until the building has functional security. The mile of copper wire to run power is locked in a trailer and might not even have a permanent fence around it yet.
