I’ve always heard that baldness primarily comes from the mother.

Hmm.

This isn’t the most respectful summary of a marriage, but is the person named someone famously criminal or something? I searched for the name, but the only relevant-seeming result wouldn’t load, so I couldn’t even see if he did anything particularly egregious.

I’m not trying to diminish the language or anything the individual might have done, I just can’t find any information.

Yeah, it was pretty unlikely back then and much more so now. I guess I should have included a sarcasm mark - I wasn’t offering it as a serious suggestion. I do wish them luck meeting someone to love.

I met someone in the official XKCD channel. That person referenced a private server. Later I went to a LAN party where another attendee happened to be on that same private server. I figured that had to be significant and joined the server myself. Some months later, a fluke caused my face to be displayed on a webcam feed I had linked there. My now-wife saw it and proclaimed me cute.

Really that was all it took, but she’s never since done anything that caused me to regret falling for her.

I met my wife on IRC. Try that!

I do, occasionally. I came from a team where I was the top contributor and am now on a team where I’m just trying to keep up. I’m learning a lot, but it’s definitely been a blow to the ego.

Guessing this it a pregnancy / abortion thing? I’m not publicly taking a stance on this, but I was unaware of anything even related to the topic.

I don’t know much about her, except that she very much interested me when I was in puberty (edit: during which I only knew of her from Charlie’s Angels) and that she was abused in a manner similar to Britney Spears. Is she an author? If so, good for her.

Dave Barry published a premise similar to this in his Guide to Guys.

It’s still not what I would call common, but if you’re well credentialed, you might be able to get remote work.
