I worked for general Mills factory for maybe 4 or 5 months back around 2005 ish.

Yeah cereal and granola that got spilled or messed up went into bins labeled animal food.

The place was kept pretty clean. But it’s still a factory floor where we wore boots.

I remember more than once shoveling nasty food disasters off the floor with dirt mixed in. Told to put in those bins.

We cleaned those floors with harsh chemicals too when we did clean them. Surely residue from those contaminated the food.

I asked if it was dog food and was told it was for pigs.
Probably made up.

Who knows what it was used for.
