And it targeted the general public, not the government. I’d guess Islamic stuff is more likely than upset veterans. But I suppose that if it’s part of a larger group, that someone will probably claim responsibility.

The group, also known as ISIS, did not provide any proof of its claim, which came from ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq on Telegram. The group’s members have carried out a number of terror attacks, including the 2015 attacks in Paris that killed 130 people.
If I had to make a guess, whoever was involved didn’t expect to come out alive.
