I think “mating” is more effective. A minor double-take means you’re more likely to remember it. Besides, textbook writers should be allowed to fit in jokes where they can; their work seems dry as hell.

He told Bloomberg, “I think I’ve done enough” and that he does not “currently see a reason” to continue spending money in the political arena.
I have little hope that the damage down by this man will be rectified any time soon.
I think he had two (cowboy and bawitdaba), so I’m sure he’d be offended at being called a one hit wonder.
