Personally i can’t get onboard with aliens when the rest of the series is cemented in the religious supernatural. The two genres are mutually exclusive in my head.

That said I do get that aliens are the pop culture thing in the timeframe where that film was set so the decision makes sense. Execution was just piss poor.

I think the bigger issue is that Tesla might be diminishing the drivers impression of their vehicle responsibility with their marketing/presentation of auto pilot.

I say that knowing very little about what it’s like to use auto pilot but if it is the case that there are changes that can be made that will result in less deaths then maybe the guys lawyer has a point.

I know you weren’t asking me, but I think the humour lies in how Elon would hate this on account of him being bigoted.

It’s not “haha he’s gay” but rather rather that he’s a fool who is too much of a snow flake and anti anything not straight, to not be offended by this. Also to add something about how Melania’s perceived to be treated by Trump, well that’s Elon now.
