I obviously don’t know your situation, but using your own phone for work is a bit of a red flag. If you’re required to use a phone for work, ideally the job should provide you one that meets their requirements.

It’s accurate when you need it to be and gets out of the way when you don’t. And if you do need the accuracy, you have a unit that doesn’t need fractions.
The only positive thing I see about imperial is that things are easily divisible by 3 and 6, but that’s about it. Then again, if doing the same with metric, you’re usually fine rounding to the nearest millimetre, and if that isn’t accurate enough, it’s probably not supposed to be done by hand anyway.

Just imagine if there was a unit of measure shown as well

I like how the fella in a wheelchair seems to be coming in for a landing.
As I said, it’s not evident at all if those are full or discounted prices, so in the latter case it’s a misleading number.
Anyway, I don’t live in a place with broken wages and tipping system, so I don’t have to deal with problems like this. Where I am wait staff gets adequate wages and tips are only a bonus on top of that.
Still potentially misleading. If the receipt doesn’t say anything about the discount (which is not clear because we can’t see what’s above the total), then you can’t tell. Again, a simple disclaimer should be enough. If there are things like “please open box before eating pizza”, then this shouldn’t be a problem.
If you’re a regular at the place, you might know about the specials. If you just walk in one time and you don’t see a label, a receipt like this will be misleading if it doesn’t state the discounts and tip bases.
The problem is that because of the way it’s written, it ends up being misleading.
If there was a simple disclaimer like “tip based on non-discounted prices”, it would’ve been fine.
Unfortunately, for companies like this, that would be just another business expense to keep things running.

I think I’ve never flown with that airline and this here makes it very likely that I never will.
Yep. Generally if one property of it was so different, I’d expect many others to be different as a result of that too. So physics and chemistry as we know them (with so many things relying on water) wouldn’t exist. And thinking further how life on Earth started off in the water…
The carpet has wear on one side, and it doesn’t make sense for the wear to be on the front of each stair, so most likely we’re looking down from the top of the flight of stairs.
You’re welcome.
