You know, given how exploitative and harmful TikTok has been from the start, it might have been better never to use it at all.

I’m guilty of being on TikTok too, mainly used to keep up with a few artists I listen to, but at the end of the day, the platform is just another exploitative data-harvesting machine.

Android has always taken the approach of it being developed in private and then having the full sources and commit history published for each stable release.

We’re going to be moving forward under the expectation that future Pixel devices may not meet the requirements to run GrapheneOS.

Many companies and individuals are trying to mislead people about the future of GrapheneOS to promote their insecure products and services.

European authoritarians and their enablers in the media are misrepresenting GrapheneOS and even Pixel phones as if they’re something for criminals.

Update, July 3, 2025 (11:45 AM ET): The crew behind GrapheneOS is understandably none too pleased about their good name being dragged through the mud, and members are speaking out about these reports from Spain. Over on X, the official GrapheneOS account posts:

Your comment made me laugh! There’s no need to criticize the company if you’re having a bad day or don’t like it. It only takes a minute to check their website for spare parts. Most likely, it’s your local shop that’s out of stock, not Fairphone itself.
