Support for this will grow, I hope. Linux on PC has been really easy for the past 10 or so years, but phones often have locked bootloaders. There is already a free speech platform called Gab Social, which follows America’s 1st amendment. How could a fool like Liz Truss pretend to care about free speech, when people in her country routinely get the police at their door for posting memes?
