Or just configure all the machines to auto-update from the flake at the repo. Doing this for my VMs. I have a CI machine that builds my pinned flake from the repo tip, and about 30 other VMs check nightly if the repo tip has moved, and if so, rebuild from the new tip; which, thanks to the CI machine, means just downloading and activating a new generation, nothing compute heavy.

• my blood glucose monitor? (It’s dead weight without a device reading it, but it does have a battery and it’s glued to/pricked into my arm)
• a stand-alone device reading values from it? (Think esp32 with a shitty 1.4" display)
• since I don’t actually own that, my phone for the sole purpose of reading my blood glucose?

Hab mir endlich im x-ten Anlauf ein OnePlus 6T gekauft und werd NixOS mobile drauf klatschen. Mir ist klar, dass das nicht von Haus aus täglich fahrbar sein wird, aber es ist Linux, also ist was auch immer stört zumindest fixbar.

Ich kann einfach nicht mehr mit Android. Wenn ich an die nächsten paar Monate denke, was da auf uns zu kommt, wird mir physisch schlecht.

Ansonsten bin ich eigentlich schon ziemlich digitally independent… Und hab in meinem Umkreis so viel missioniert wie ich mich traue… :D
