I have no issue with spiders, but now that a small lizard took residence somewhere in the house there’s almost none left. And also no other insects as well.
long as they stay away from me and mine thry can keep staying in the house. any and every time i see one though. SPLAT!
Well of course they are, their my homies. I even have several indoor plants where the wolf spiders have claimed.
The amount of spider love here is so refreshing. Gives me hope for humanity. I love my arachnid roomies. Except for you, Mr. Brown Recluse. I’m so sorry, but you gotta go. We’re just not that compatible.
I love them too but I have a 12lb doggo and a widow came in my side door the other day and I killed it without question and for better or worse went nuclear with the bug spray.
Generally I like bugs and I have a bug net so I can catch and release instead of killing.
But when it comes to the safety of my pup I will not think twice.
I completely understand. I don’t get too many widows, but I try to relocate them instead of going scorched earth on them. They’re fairly slow and easy to catch. Those recluses are quick as fuck and, well, usually not as fast as a shoe or flyswatter.

Yeah, when I saw the first spider after I moved to a new home I texted my best friend to celebrate and we were happy as fuck! I hope that spider is doing fine… haven’t seen him in a while…
Pretty predictable, except the one i felt in my shorts a couple of weeks ago.
They are incredibly welcome guests in my home. Their food, mosquitoes and flies, are not.
They eat the bugs that eat my food and can make me sick. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Just don’t jump on me.
I have usually 8 or 9 orb weavers around the house during the warmer seasons. They’re amazingly beautiful creatures. Even if they build over one of the outside doors, I just use another until they move. Don’t want to screw up their webs.

It was 110 degrees Fudge today. I would kill (a large pie) for cold right now.

They are welcome on my home. I recently learned not to put them back outside. Instead, I only rescue them from my tub because they can’t get grip.

They are inside to get shelter, if take them outside they may not get to recover how they need to. They will find thier way out when they are ready.
