7·2 days agoYes, please. Yeah, they are gonna get bailed out, but:
- Not by my gov
- At least some of these AI cunts, driving the bubble, will end up broke, hopefully
Overeducated??? Leave it to followers of the cult of the Pedophile of the United States (POTUS) to use that as an insult.

5·4 days agoMeanwhile in KDE, I can multiple taskbars of different sizes. I have 3 in the SAME row. A tiny one for virtual desktops, a tiny one for a usage monitors, and ofc the normal one, half my screen size wide. For such high-tech M$ would probably need a human lifetime, or 20k agents.

174·6 days agoI wouldn’t say AI itself is bad for society, but billionaires and this current AI gold rush is.

1·6 days agoIt’s been a couple years, but I used Gemini for coding and I found it to be at least better than ChatGPT at the time, but for everything else it was so much worse than it. But yes, even when coding and having it supposeldy dig through docs, it had quite the error rate.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Sean Connery in 1964 (on the set of Goldfinger) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster in 2024. Both age 34 in their respective photos.
6·6 days agoIdk man, I’ve always looked way younger than my age when shaved, but not that extreme. Skin care or not, I would not want to look like that at 34.

13·8 days agoFucking hell. Time to take all the photos down. It’s been at least a decade since a photo has been uploaded there, because I knew Google can’t be trusted and I disabled the automatic upload, just hadn’t taken the already uploaded images down. On top of that, for months I have been in the process of moving off gmail to Zoho Mail. Fuck Google.

112·10 days agoYeah, this election is gonna be stolen for sure… And guess what, Muricans will do nothing about it. They will throw their hands in the air and say “well, I tried”.
They already should have done something when their brain dead / brainwashed compatriots elected a CHILD-RAPING FELON, but nope. Sure, he was (possibly) “fairly” elected, that doesn’t mean you can’t show your “dissatisfaction” for it.

195·11 days agoIdk man, to me, it feels like we are further from AGI than fusion reactors actually being hooked up to the grid, considering LLMs are still just glorified autocorrects, needing a ton of prompt injections from their providers. And yet, the AI companies make it seem like it’s right around the corner (obviously, because $$$), whereas to me it feels like we are still at least 50 years away. Maybe AGI will be the next fusion generator chase.

7·18 days agoPlease. Just crash already. And everybody driving ithe bubble needs to go to jail and never see the light of day again, that includes the motherfucking leather jacket.
Ugh, was bound to happen. We need open models, BADLY. Unfortunately one also needs the hardware for them. I only have 20 GB VRAM and 32 GB of RAM, basically can’t use a decent model with that, sucks.
