I don’t even understand the point of making someone mad via text conversations. You can’t see their face turn red with rage or hear the sounds they make, so it’s not even funny. 🤷♂️
Engagement and data collection … sometimes it’s just a way to collect data. Anyone that responds gets added to their list of accounts that have a live person.
They do the same for telemarketing, email, mail, phone, sms, and any other contact request … once there’s a response, it’s confirmation that the account has a human owner
If you do it well enough they’ll call your ass. And if you’re smart you don’t answer the first call. If you can bait them into leaving a voicemail you’ve won.
